Graduation Bonus: A special one-time bonus of Rs. 3,000 is awarded to girls who successfully complete their primary education (Class 5).

Payment Distribution Schedule

The April 2026 installment is being released in three distinct phases to avoid overcrowding at payment centers:

  • Phase 1 (Early April): Payments started in major districts for families with pre-verified biometric records.
  • Phase 2 (Mid-April): Expansion to rural tehsils across Punjab, Sindh, KPK, and Balochistan.
  • Phase 3 (Late April): Distribution for families who recently updated their NSER survey data.

Mandatory 70% Attendance Rule

The most critical update for 2026 is the strict monitoring of school attendance.

  • The Rule: Students must maintain a minimum of 70% attendance each month.
  • Consequence: If attendance falls below 70%, the stipend for that specific quarter will be automatically blocked by the BISP system.
  • Verification: Attendance is tracked digitally via the school’s EMIS code and uploaded to the BISP servers.

Registration Process for New Students

If your children are not yet enrolled in the program but you are an active BISP Kafaalat beneficiary, follow these steps:

  1. Visit BISP Office: The mother must visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office with her original CNIC and the child’s NADRA B-Form.
  2. Get Enrollment Slip: The officer will issue a specialized Enrollment Slip.
  3. School Verification: Take this slip to the child’s school. The Headmaster must fill in the EMIS Code, sign, and stamp the slip.
  4. Final Submission: Return the stamped slip to the BISP office for final digital entry.

How to Check Your Status

  • Web Portal: Visit 8171.bisp.gov.pk and enter the mother’s CNIC.
  • SMS: Send the 13-digit CNIC (without dashes) to 8171.
  • Biometrics: Payments are withdrawn via HBL or Bank Alfalah biometric ATMs or designated BISP campsites.

Note: Registration and status checks are 100% free. If anyone asks for money to “approve” your child’s stipend, report it immediately to the BISP helpline at 0800-26477.
