Government of Pakistan has officially released the payment schedule for the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif (Student Stipends) alongside the main BISP Kafaalat installments.
The distribution is being managed in a phased rollout to ensure transparency and avoid overcrowding at payment centers.
April 2026 Payment Schedule & Phases
| Phase | Timeline | Target Area / Group |
| Phase 1 | Active Now (Started late March) | Major districts and cities; beneficiaries with updated biometric records. |
| Phase 2 | Mid-April 2026 | Rural areas and tehsils across Punjab, Sindh, KPK, and Balochistan. |
| Phase 3 | Late April 2026 | Families who recently updated their NSER survey or had pending verification. |

- Secondary (Class 6-10): Boys: Rs. 3,500 | Girls: Rs. 4,000

How to Check Your Payment Status Today
You can verify if your child’s stipend has been credited to the mother’s account using these official methods:
- 8171 Web Portal: Visit 8171.bisp.gov.pk and enter the mother’s 13-digit CNIC.
- SMS Service: Send the mother’s CNIC number (no dashes) to 8171. You will receive an automated reply with the eligibility and balance details for both Kafaalat and Taleemi Wazaif.
- BISP Mobile App: Log in to the official Benazir Taleemi Wazaif App to track enrollment and attendance-linked payments.

Critical Rules for 2026 Payments
- 70% Attendance: This is a “Conditional Cash Transfer.” If the student’s school attendance drops below 70%, the stipend for that quarter will be automatically blocked.
- Mother’s Eligibility: The child’s mother must be an active BISP Kafaalat beneficiary (receiving the Rs. 13,500–14,500 installment).
- Biometric Verification: Payments must be collected via biometric (fingerprint) verification at authorized HBL/Bank Alfalah ATMs or BISP campsites.
Note: If your child is enrolled but you haven’t received a payment, ensure your NSER survey is updated (it must be renewed every 3 years) at your local BISP Tehsil Office.
